Description

This fish zucchini gratin is a light yet filling dish that tastes especially good in summer. The combination of tender fish, fresh zucchini and a creamy tomato sauce makes it an absolute favorite. I like to prepare it when I need to be quick, but still want something healthy on the table. If you like, you can add pre-cooked potato slices. A fresh salad or just baguette goes well with it.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g Fish fillet firm
  • 500 g Zucchini
  • 100 g Diced bacon
  • 1 piece Onion large
  • 250 ml Sieved tomatoes
  • 100 g Crème fraîche
  • Thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sugar
  • 150 g Cheese grated Emmental

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion

Put 1 large onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté bacon and onion

Add 100 g of diced bacon to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare sauce

Add 250 ml sieved tomatoes and 100 g crème fraîche to the mixing bowl. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and thyme as needed and simmer for 5 min./100°C/speed 2.

Layer casserole

Wash 500 g zucchini and cut into slices. Distribute the zucchini slices evenly in a baking dish. Place 500 g fish fillet (cod or salmon) on top.

Distribute sauce and sprinkle cheese

Pour the sauce from the mixing bowl over the fish and zucchini. Sprinkle 150 g of grated Emmental cheese over it.

Bake casserole

Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
