Description

Gretschka with pork goulash is a hearty main course with buckwheat and pork neck, prepared in the Thermomix®. In addition to buckwheat, onions, tomato paste and flour are important ingredients for this simple goulash. The preparation takes a total of 70 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for anyone looking for a quick and inexpensive meal with meat. This dish is a hearty family meal.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 300 g Buckwheat
  • 1400 ml Water
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 15 g Oil
  • 60 g Tomato paste
  • 25 g Flour
  • 700 g Pork neck (bite-sized pieces)
  • 500 g Water
  • 1 EL Vegetable broth
  • 2 Stück Bay leaves
  • 1 EL Parsley
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Cook buckwheat

Thermomix® Setting
30 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Add 1400 ml water and 1 tsp salt to the mixing bowl. Insert the steamer basket, weigh in 300 g buckwheat and cook everything for 30 min./Varoma/level 1.

Keep buckwheat warm

Keep the buckwheat warm and pour away the cooking liquid.

Chop onions

Put 2 onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./level 5.

Sauté

Thermomix® Setting

Add 15 g oil, 60 g tomato paste and 25 g flour and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Fry the meat and add

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Linkslauf/Rührstufe 248°F Reverse

Add 700 g pork neck (bite-sized pieces) to the mixing bowl and cook for 3 min./120°C/Counter-clockwise operation/stirring level.

Finish the goulash

30 min/212°F/Linkslauf/Speed 1 212°F Reverse

Add 500 g water, 1 tbsp vegetable stock, 2 bay leaves, 1 tbsp parsley, 1 tsp salt and pepper and cook for 30 min./100°C/Counter-clockwise operation/level 1.
