Description

This simple chicken rice soup from the Thermomix® is quickly prepared with chicken breast fillet, rice and leek. The chicken broth provides a hearty note, while sour cream refines the soup. In just 30 minutes, a warm main course for 4 people is created. Ideal for quick, inexpensive family cooking.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Chicken breast fillets
  • 1 Stück Chicken broth
  • 1 Stück Large white onion
  • 1 EL Butter
  • 1 Stange Leek
  • 250 g Sour cream
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Fresh basil
  • 200 g Cooked rice

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare the chicken

Wash and pat dry the chicken breast fillets and cut into small pieces. Fry the meat in a separate pan and set aside.

Prepare the vegetables

Wash the leek and cut into rings. Peel and quarter the onion.

Chop the onion

Put the onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5.

Sauté onion and leek

Add butter and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1. Add leek and sauté for another 2 min./120°C/level 1.

Cook the soup

Add chicken broth and cook for 10 min./100°C/level 1.

Puree the soup

30 sec/Speed 8-10

Puree the soup for 30 sec./level 8-10, holding the lid firmly in place.

Finish the soup

Add sour cream and the fried chicken and simmer for 7 min./90°C/level 1/REVERSE.

Add rice and season

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 1 Linkslauf 194°F Reverse

Add cooked rice and heat for 2 min./90°C/level 1/REVERSE. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve

Wash the basil, pluck the leaves and garnish the soup with it before serving.
