Description

  • 6 slices bacon
  • ground black pepper
  • 1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 piece (12 inch) flatbread pizza crust
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp pesto
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare Bacon

Cut 6 slices of bacon into 1/4-inch pieces. Place the bacon pieces in a skillet and cook over medium heat until crisp, about 3-8 minutes. Season with ground black pepper to taste. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

Cook Chicken

Cut 1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast into 1/2-inch pieces. Cook and stir the chicken in the bacon grease over medium heat until lightly browned, about 5-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare Pizza Crust

Place 1 (12 inch) flatbread pizza crust on a baking sheet. Brush the edges of the crust with 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

Spread Pesto

Spread 3 tablespoons of pesto over the center of the flatbread pizza crust.

Add Toppings

Cover the pesto with 1 cup of crumbled feta cheese, cooked chicken, and cooked bacon.

Bake Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) until the cheese is melted and the edges of the crust are golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
