Description

These burger double-deckers are a real highlight for every burger fan! Juicy beef, crispy bacon, melted cheese and a delicious sauce make these burgers an unforgettable taste experience. I like to make them for birthdays or grill parties because they are always well received. The preparation is a bit more complex, but it's worth it! If you like it a little lighter, you can also use turkey mince. Sweet potato fries or a fresh salad go well with this. A hearty pleasure that is guaranteed to fill you up!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Vegetable onion
  • 1 piece Large tomato
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp Ketchup
  • 2 tsp Mustard
  • 800 g Ground meat (beef)
  • 8 Scheibe(n) Bacon
  • 4 piece Burger buns
  • 1 piece Romaine lettuce heart
  • 8 Scheibe(n) Pickles
  • 8 Scheibe(n) Cheddar
  • Oil for frying

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare onions

Peel the vegetable onion and cut into rings. Cut the tomato into slices. Set both aside.

Prepare burger sauce

Place mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 3. Then transfer and set aside.

Shape ground meat

Shape the ground meat into 8 equal-sized balls. These will later be formed into patties in the pan.

Top the burger

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom part of the burger bun, then a meat patty. Now the bacon and pickle slices, then another meat patty, two tomato slices and a few onion rings. Finally, spread the top half of the bun with the created burger sauce and place on top. Insert a toothpick into the burger to fix it.
