Description
This simple recipe for Homemade Lavash Flatbreads with flour, water, salt and oil is quick to make in the Thermomix®. Preparation takes only 20 minutes and yields 12 servings. The vegan flatbread is an inexpensive and versatile side dish or base for wraps. Ideal for light cuisine or as finger food.

200 g Hot water

1 TL Salt

30 g Oil
Preparation (4 steps)
Prepare dough
Add all ingredients (370 g flour, 200 g hot water, 1 tsp salt, 30 g oil) to the mixing bowl and knead for 2 minutes on the kneading setting.
Shape and roll out dough
Shape the dough into a roll and cut into 12 pieces (approx. 50 g). Form the dough pieces into balls. Cover with cling film and roll each ball into a very thin flatbread one after the other using a rolling pin.
Bake flatbreads
Preheat a large pan without oil over medium heat. Bake the flatbreads one after the other for about 1 minute per side until they are lightly browned and puffed up.
Moisten flatbreads
After baking, briefly brush or spray the hot flatbreads with water and cover immediately with a kitchen towel. This will keep them soft.
