Description

This homemade strawberry yoghurt is a refreshing and healthy treat that I particularly enjoy preparing for breakfast. The combination of creamy milk, probiotic cultures and fresh strawberries makes it a real highlight. The preparation is very simple and the Thermomix® takes a lot of work off your hands. The long ripening time allows the yoghurt to develop its full flavour and a pleasant consistency. Perfect for a good start to the day or as a light dessert! If you like, you can also use other fruits.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 1 l Low-fat milk
  • 1 Fläschchen Yoghurt
  • 1 Handvoll Strawberries
  • 4 tbsp Agave nectar

Preparation (4 steps)

Heat milk and add yoghurt culture

7 min/104°F/Speed 2 40

Pour 1 litre of low-fat milk into the mixing bowl and heat for 7 min./40°C/speed 2. Then add 1 vial of probiotic yoghurt (e.g. with L. Casei) and stir for 10 sec./speed 2.

Let the yoghurt mature

Pour the mixture into a resealable bowl and store in a warm place (approx. 25-30°C) for 8 hours. Then place in the refrigerator for another 8 hours.

Chop strawberries and mix with agave nectar

Thermomix® Setting

Put a handful of strawberries and 4 tbsp of agave nectar into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./speed 5.

Stir in yoghurt and strawberry mixture

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3

Add the finished yoghurt to the strawberry mixture in the mixing bowl and stir for 5 sec./speed 3.
