Description

With this Thermomix® recipe, you can make crispy baguette rolls in no time. The main ingredients are water, yeast, flour, salt, and oil. Preparation takes about 120 minutes, of which 30 minutes are active working time. The recipe is ideal for a hearty breakfast or as finger food and yields [Anzahl] servings. Suitable for anyone who likes to bake bread and rolls themselves.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 280 ml lukewarm water
  • 10 g fresh yeast
  • 1 TL sugar
  • 500 g Type 550 flour
  • 1 TL salt
  • 35 ml rapeseed oil
  • sesame seeds (optional)
  • sunflower seeds (optional)
  • wheat bran (optional)
  • flour for dusting (optional)

Dissolve yeast and sugar in water

Add 280 ml lukewarm water, 10 g fresh yeast and 1 tsp sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./37°C/speed 2.

Knead the dough

10 min/Kneading speed

Add 500 g Type 550 flour, 1 tsp salt and 35 ml rapeseed oil and knead for 10 min./kneading setting.

Let the dough rest

Let the dough rest for at least 1-1.5 hours.

Shape the dough

Cut out the dough piece, shape it into a ball and let it rest a little. Then flatten, form into a rectangle and baguette.

Let rest for another 20 minutes.

Prepare the dough pieces

Ideally, roll in sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or wheat bran as desired. Otherwise just flour and cut.

Baking

Preheat the oven with an empty tray to 240°C. Slide in the rolls and pour hot water onto the empty tray. After 10 minutes, remove the tray with water and bake for approx. 10-15 minutes.
