Description

This juicy pork goulash, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a hearty main course with pork goulash, vegetable onions, paprika powder and tomato paste. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes a total of 70 minutes, with an active working time of about 20 minutes. The recipe is designed for 4 servings and is ideal for a warming family meal on cold days. Refined with gravy stock, it is a hearty dish for lovers of traditional cuisine.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

500 g Vegetable onions
1 kg Pork goulash
2 EL Clarified butter
2 EL Sweet paprika powder
3 EL Tomato paste
800 ml Gravy stock
Salt
Pepper
Water

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare onions

Halve 500 g onions and cut into rings.

Sear meat

Heat 2 tbsp clarified butter in a pan. Sear 1 kg pork goulash in portions from all sides and season with salt and pepper.

Sauté onions

Add the onions to the meat in the pan and sauté for 2 minutes.

Finish goulash in the Thermomix

Thermomix® Setting

45-60 min/212°F/Gentle stir speed 212°F Reverse

Place the seared meat and onions in the mixing bowl. Add 3 tbsp tomato paste and 2 tbsp paprika powder and sauté for 1 min./120°C/speed 1. Deglaze with 800 ml gravy stock and simmer for 45-60 min./100°C/Reverse/Gentle stir setting. Stir occasionally and add a little water if necessary.
