Description

This simple cherry Kissel, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a quick dessert with sour cherries, cherry juice, sugar and cornstarch. In just 18 minutes, a portion of this sweet dessert is created. Ideal as a light dessert or for a small sweet craving in between. The preparation in the Thermomix® takes only 10 minutes of active work.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

800 g Water
2 Gläser Sour cherries (collect cherry juice)
100 g Sugar
70 g Cornstarch

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare cherries

Drain the sour cherries and collect the cherry juice.

Mix liquids and sugar

Add 800 g water, the collected cherry juice and 100 g sugar to the mixing bowl.

Cook liquids and sugar

Close the mixing bowl and set to 10 min./100°C/speed 1.

Prepare cornstarch

Mix 70 g cornstarch with some water in a small bowl.

Set the Thermomix to 5 min./90°C/speed 3. Slowly pour the cornstarch into the mixing bowl through the lid opening and replace the measuring cup.
