Description

These small chocolate flavored truffles are perfect for Easter or any other festive occasion. They are incredibly easy to make with the Thermomix® and require only a few simple ingredients. The secret lies in the softened butter which, mixed with cocoa and icing sugar, creates a melting and deliciously rich texture. I love preparing these truffles with the children, it's a fun and gourmet activity. You can vary the pleasures by rolling them in different decorations: chocolate sprinkles, cocoa powder, grated coconut... Let your imagination run wild! These truffles keep well in the refrigerator, which allows you to prepare them in advance.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 120 g Powder
  • 360 g Icing sugar
  • 220 g Softened butter
  • to taste Chocolate sprinkles

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare butter

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/122°F/Speed 2 50

Add 220 g Butter in small pieces to the mixing bowl and melt for 30 sec./50°C/speed 2.

Creamy mixture

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 120 g Powder and 360 g Icing sugar to the melted Butter in the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./speed 3 until a mousse-like consistency is achieved. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula and repeat the process.

Cool down

Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow it to firm up.

Shape truffles

Use two small spoons to cut out small dumplings and shape them into balls with your hands.

Decorate

Roll the shaped Truffles in a bowl with Chocolate sprinkles until they are completely covered.

Chill

Arrange the finished Truffles on a plate and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to allow them to set.
