Description

This hearty cooked cheese after M+K, also known as Harzer cheese cream, is a quick and easy spread made from Harzer cheese, butter, quark, cream and egg yolk, refined with baking soda and Tabasco. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes only 20 minutes. The recipe is ideal as finger food or an appetizer and provides a delicious cheese variation for lovers of savory cuisine. Thanks to the WunderSlicer V2 from Wundermix, the preparation is particularly uncomplicated.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 200 g Harzer Cheese
  • 100 g Butter
  • 200 g Quark 20%
  • 200 g Heavy cream
  • 1 piece Egg yolk
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 4 Spritzer Tabasco

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop Harzer cheese

Put 200g Harzer cheese into the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./speed 5.

Add butter, quark and cream

Add 100g butter, 200g quark (20%) and 200g heavy cream to the mixing bowl.

Heat cheese mixture

Heat for 8 min./80°C/speed 4.

Let cool

Let cool in the mixing bowl for 5 minutes.

Add egg yolk, baking soda and Tabasco

Add 1 egg yolk, 1 slightly heaped tsp baking soda and 4 dashes of Tabasco to the mixing bowl.
