Description

This savory lasagna with béchamel is an absolute classic and tastes great to the whole family! I've been making it for years and it's always a hit. The ground meat is refined with aromatic herbs and tomato paste, while the béchamel sauce with nutmeg and cheese gets a creamy note. The preparation takes a little time, but the result is worth it. Perfect for a cozy dinner or a festive lunch. The lasagna can also be prepared and frozen well.

Ingredients (17 ingredients)

  • 600 g Ground meat
  • 2 piece Onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 500 ml Tomato purée
  • to taste Oregano
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 Zehe(n) Garlic
  • to taste Paprika powder
  • 80 g Flour
  • 0.5 Liter Vegetable broth
  • 0.5 Liter Milk
  • 1 Pck. Pizza cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Nutmeg
  • 1 Pck. Lasagna sheet(s)

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onions

Peel 2 onions, quarter them and put them in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./level 5.

Fry ground meat

Fry the ground meat in a pan with 2 tbsp oil until crumbly. Add the chopped onions and fry briefly.

Prepare ground meat sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put the fried ground meat with the onions in the mixing bowl. Add 1 tbsp tomato paste, 500 ml tomato purée, a finely chopped clove of garlic, salt, pepper, paprika powder and oregano. Cook for 10 min./100°C/level 1.

Prepare béchamel sauce

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put 80 g margarine in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./100°C/level 1.

Make a roux

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add 80 g flour to the melted margarine and sauté for 2 min./100°C/level 2.

Finish béchamel sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 3 90

Slowly pour in 1/2 liter of vegetable broth and stir for 3 min./100°C/level 3. Then add 1/2 liter of milk and bring to a boil for 5 min./90°C/level 3. Add a handful of pizza cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg and stir for 1 min./60°C/level 2.

Layer lasagna

Put some ground meat sauce in a baking dish, place lasagna sheets on top. Then again ground meat sauce, then béchamel sauce. Repeat this process until all the ingredients are used up. The last layer should be béchamel sauce.

Spread cheese and bake

Spread the remaining pizza cheese on the lasagna and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C convection for 30-40 minutes.
