Description

This lasagna with fruity bell pepper and hearty minced meat sauce is an absolute classic that is well received by the whole family. I especially like to make it when it's cold outside, because it warms you from the inside and just tastes delicious. The preparation is a bit more complex, but it's worth it! The combination of the creamy béchamel sauce, the spicy minced meat sauce and the melted cheese is simply unbeatable. And the best thing: you can prepare it very well and then simply put it in the oven. An ideal dish for guests or a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients (19 ingredients)

  • 16 piece Lasagna sheets without pre-cooking
  • 400 g Cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 1 piece Onion, diced
  • 2 clove Garlic, chopped
  • 500 g Minced meat, mixed
  • 2 piece Bell peppers, red, cleaned, diced small
  • 3 can Tomatoes, pizza tomatoes
  • 40 g Tomato paste
  • 100 ml Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pizza spice
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 1 tbsp Margarine
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • Broth instant
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • 200 ml Cream

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Put 1 onion, diced, and 2 cloves of garlic, chopped, into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed 5.

Fry minced meat

Heat some olive oil in a pan. Add 500 g of mixed minced meat, the chopped onion and garlic and fry until crumbly.

Sauté bell pepper

Add 2 red bell peppers, cleaned and diced small, to the minced meat in the pan and sauté briefly.

Prepare tomato sauce

Add 3 cans of pizza tomatoes, 40 g of tomato paste and 100 ml of water to the minced meat in the pan. Season with salt, pepper and pizza spice and simmer for a while.

Prepare béchamel sauce

Put 300 ml milk, 1 tbsp margarine, 1 tbsp flour, some broth instant and some salt into the mixing bowl and cook for 7 min./90°C/speed 4.

Layer lasagna

Spread some tomato minced meat sauce on the bottom of a rectangular casserole dish and place 4 lasagna sheets without pre-cooking on top. Then alternately layer tomato sauce, light sauce, 400 g grated cheese and lasagna sheets in the dish. Finish with meat sauce and pour 200 ml of cream over it.

Bake lasagna

Spread the remaining cheese on the lasagna and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
