Description

These summery lime semolina slices with mirabelle plum sauce are a fruity dessert, prepared in the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are mirabelle plums, semolina, lemon, and milk. Preparation takes about 45 minutes and yields 6 servings. Ideal as a simple and quick dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g Mirabelle plums (pitted)
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise Cinnamon
  • 2 EL Lemon juice
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Stück Organic lemon (zest)
  • 100 g Soft wheat semolina

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare mirabelle plum sauce

Place 500 g of mirabelle plums (pitted) into the mixing bowl and puree for 5 sec./speed 5.

Cook mirabelle plum sauce

Add 100 g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of cinnamon and 2 tbsp lemon juice to the pureed mirabelle plums and cook for 10 min./100°C/speed 2.

Prepare semolina mixture

Put 500 ml milk, 75 g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, zest of 1 organic lemon and 100 g soft wheat semolina into the mixing bowl and cook for 8 min./90°C/speed 4.

Let semolina mixture cool

Let the semolina mixture cool down a little.

Place semolina mixture in mold and chill

Pour the semolina mixture into a mold rinsed with cold water (approx. 20x30 cm) and smooth it out. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Serve

Cut the semolina slices into pieces and serve with the mirabelle plum sauce.
