Description

This low carb cauliflower bomb with cheese is a hearty main course that is ideal for a low-carbohydrate diet. The cauliflower is filled with ground meat and cheese and baked in the oven. The preparation time is approx. 80 minutes and the recipe is designed for 4 servings. Ideal for anyone who wants to eat healthily and consciously.

  • 1 Stück Cauliflower
  • 500 g Ground meat
  • 1 Pck. Bacon in strips
  • 4 Scheibe/n Cheese of your choice
  • 1 Stück Onion(s)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 Stück Egg(s)

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare cauliflower

Remove the leaves and stalk from the cauliflower. Cook the entire head in salted water for 10-12 minutes. Then drain the cauliflower well.

Chop onion

Place 1 peeled onion in the mixing bowl and chop with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 on level 4. Use the fine slice and collect the cut material.

Prepare ground meat

Mix 500 g of ground meat with the chopped onions, a little salt, pepper and paprika powder in a bowl. Add 1 egg and mix everything well.

Fill cauliflower

Place the cauliflower head with the stalk facing down in a casserole dish. Spread the ground meat mixture on the cauliflower head and press down lightly.

Topping and baking

Place a layer of bacon in strips all around it and layer 4 slices of cheese of your choice over the bacon slices (only on top). Cook the bomb in a preheated oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat for approx. 30-40 minutes (depending on the thickness of the ground meat layer) in the oven.
