Description

This simple recipe for basic chocolate is vegan and free of refined sugar. With just a few ingredients like cocoa butter, almond butter and cocoa powder, the chocolate is quick to prepare and ideal for those looking for a healthy treat. The preparation time is about 20 minutes, plus 2-3 hours of cooling time. The recipe yields about 15 pieces and is therefore perfect as a dessert or a small sweet for in between.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Vanilla pod
  • 100 g Cocoa butter
  • 50 g Almond butter
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder (raw food quality)

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare vanilla pulp

Slit the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Set the pulp aside.

Melt cocoa butter

Add 100 g cocoa butter to the mixing bowl and melt for 2 minutes/40 °C/speed 0.5.

Mix ingredients

Add the prepared vanilla pulp, 50 g almond butter and 2 tbsp cocoa powder and mix for 2 minutes/40 °C/speed 1 into a homogeneous mass. In between, always use the spatula to push the mass down.

Shape and cool chocolate

Pour the hot mixture into praline molds or spread on a flat plate and let cool in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
