Description

This hare breakfast jam is a delicious and fruity spread, ideal for breakfast. The combination of carrots, apples and orange juice gives the jam a special touch. Preparation is quick and easy with the Thermomix®. The jam is vegetarian and is particularly suitable for the winter season.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 300 g Carrots in slices
  • 300 g Peeled and diced apples
  • 300 ml Orange juice
  • Orange zest
  • Vanilla sugar
  • Citric acid
  • 1 Päckchen Gelling sugar 2:1

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare carrots and apples

Put 300 g sliced carrots and 300 g peeled and diced apples into the mixing bowl.

Cook and puree carrots and apples

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Speed 1, dann 30 sec/Speed 8-10 212°F

Add 300 ml orange juice to the carrots and apples in the mixing bowl and cook for 15 min./100°C/speed 1. Then puree for 30 sec./speed 8-10.

Add more ingredients and bring to a boil

4-6 min/212°F/Speed 2 212°F

Add the remaining orange juice, orange zest, vanilla sugar, a little citric acid and a packet of gelling sugar 2:1 to the mixing bowl and bring to the boil for 4-6 min./100°C/speed 2.

Fill jam

Pour the hot jam into clean jars immediately and seal.
