Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 piece large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup shortening
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk, or more as needed

Prepare the oven and muffin pans

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 mini muffin pans. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Combine dry ingredients

Add 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon salt to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4 to combine.

Add 1 cup softened butter, 3/4 cup white sugar, 3/4 cup packed brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 30 Sec./Stufe 3 until creamy.

Add 2 large eggs, one at a time, to the Thermomix bowl, mixing for 10 Sec./Stufe 3 after each addition.

Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough into the prepared mini muffin cups. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Bake the cookie cups

Bake in the preheated oven until edges are light golden brown, 9 to 12 minutes. Cool before removing from the pans. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Prepare the icing

20 sec/Speed 3

Add 1/2 cup shortening, 1/2 cup softened butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3 until combined.

Add confectioners' sugar

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Gradually add 4 cups confectioners' sugar, 1 cup at a time, to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3 after each addition. Use the spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl if needed.

Adjust icing consistency

10 sec/Speed 3

Add 2 tablespoons milk to the Thermomix bowl and mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 3 until the icing is smooth. Add a little more milk if the icing is still dry.

Fill the center of each cooled cookie cup with icing. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.
