Description

This dish of roasted chicken thighs with onion and beer is a simple and delicious recipe, perfect for a family meal. The combination of caramelized onion and beer gives the chicken a unique and juicy flavor. I usually prepare it when I have little time, but I want something tasty and comforting. Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 2 raciones Chicken thighs
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Provençal herbs
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 clove Garlics
  • 30 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 330 ml Beer

Chop the onion and the garlic

Peel the onion and the garlics. Insert the onion in the bowl and chop 3 Sec./speed 5. Add the garlics and chop 3 Sec./speed 7. Lower the remains of the walls of the bowl with the spatula.

Add oil and sauté

Thermomix® Setting

Add the extra virgin olive oil to the bowl and sauté 3 Min./120°C/speed 1.

Season the chicken

Meanwhile, season the chicken thighs and sprinkle with the Provençal herbs.

Brown the chicken in a pan

Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken thighs on both sides until they are well browned. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Add the sauté to the chicken

Pour the sautéed onion and garlic from the Thermomix into the pan where the chicken was browned. Stir to mix the chicken juices with the sauté.

Add the beer and cook

Lower the heat to low and add the beer to the pan. Cover and cook over low heat for approximately 45 minutes, occasionally basting the chicken with the sauce and turning it over so that it cooks well on both sides, until the sauce has reduced.
