Description

This hearty one-pot pasta recipe with salsiccia is prepared in the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are salsiccia, fennel, onions, garlic, and chili. In 40 minutes, an Italian main course for 8 servings is ready. Ideal for a simple family meal.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 8 Stück fresh fennel-seasoned sausages
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 4 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 1.5 Stück Chili peppers (according to spiciness and tolerance)
  • 1 Stück Celery stalk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 6 Stück Anchovies preserved in olive oil
  • 1.5 l Broth
  • 500 g Penne (or another short pasta type: Orecchiette, Farfalle)
  • 1 Dose Peeled tomatoes (in tomato juice)
  • 1 EL Capers
  • Parsley
  • Basil

Preparation (11 steps)

Prepare sausages

Remove the sausage casings and crumble the sausage meat.

Prepare onions, garlic and chili

Peel and quarter the onions and place them in the mixing bowl. Add garlic cloves. Core and add the chili peppers.

Prepare celery

Cut the celery into thin slices and set aside.

Brown the sausage meat

Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan. Brown the crumbled sausage meat in it until crumbly. Set aside.

Sauté onions, garlic and chili

Place the prepared onions, garlic, and chili in the mixing bowl with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté.

Add celery

Add the sliced celery to the mixing bowl and sauté.

Add anchovies and capers

Add 6-8 anchovies (preserved in olive oil), chopped or whole, and 1-2 tablespoons of capers to the mixing bowl and stir.

Add broth and pasta

Add 1 liter of broth, 500 g of penne (or other short pasta type) and the browned sausage meat to the mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

Add tomatoes

Add 1 large can or 2 smaller cans of peeled tomatoes (in tomato juice) and simmer further.

Check consistency and season

Check the consistency and add additional broth if necessary until the stew has the desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.

Add herbs

Stir in plenty of chopped herbs (parsley and/or basil) and serve.
