Description

The bell pepper and ground beef skillet with cauliflower rice is a low-carb main course with bell peppers, ground beef, and cauliflower, refined with onions, garlic, and paprika spice. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 35 minutes and yields 4 servings. This recipe is ideal for a light, high-protein diet and is a quick family meal.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 3 Stück Bell peppers
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 500 g Cauliflower
  • 2 TL Olive oil
  • 400 g Ground beef
  • 1 TL Chili
  • 1 TL Paprika spice
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 400 g Chopped tomatoes
  • 150 ml Beef broth
  • 100 g Grated Cheddar
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Prise Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare cauliflower rice

Thermomix® Setting

Divide 500 g of cauliflower into florets and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 5 sec./level 5 until it is about the size of rice.

Sauté cauliflower rice

Heat 2 tsp of olive oil in a pan and sauté the cauliflower rice over medium heat for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the rice from the pan.

Fry ground beef

Add 400 g of ground beef, 1 onion (pre-chopped) and 1 clove of garlic (pre-chopped) to the pan and fry in the remaining olive oil for approx. 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Fry bell peppers

Add 3 bell peppers (cut into bite-sized pieces) and fry for another 2 minutes.

Prepare sauce

Add 1 tsp chili, 1 tsp paprika spice, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 400 g chopped tomatoes and 150 ml beef broth to the ground beef and simmer, stirring, for 5 min./100°C/level 1.

Stir in the cauliflower rice

Stir in the cauliflower rice.

Melt cheese

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/140°F/Speed 1 140°F

Sprinkle everything with 100 g grated Cheddar and let the cheese melt with the lid closed for 10 min./60°C/level 1.
