Description

Pot bread Paul is a hearty whole wheat bread from the Thermomix® with oatmeal, beet syrup and apple cider vinegar. The recipe from the category Bread and Rolls is ideal for breakfast. Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 TL Salt
  • 2 EL Beet syrup
  • 300 ml Lukewarm water
  • 2 EL Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 260 g Whole wheat flour
  • 1 Päckchen Dry yeast
  • 50 g Rolled oats
  • 30 g Walnuts
  • 20 g Sunflower seeds
  • 60 g Sesame

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare yeast

Put lukewarm water, sugar and dry yeast into the mixing bowl and mix for 5 min./37°C/speed 2. Then let stand for 5 minutes.

Chop nuts and seeds

Put walnuts, sunflower seeds and sesame into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Put wheat flour, oatmeal, apple cider vinegar, beet syrup and salt into the mixing bowl. Add the prepared yeast mixture and the chopped nuts and seeds and mix for 2 min./knead setting until everything is well mixed.

Put dough in pot and bake

Place the dough in an ovenproof pot (inner diameter approx. 16 cm and height approx. 9 cm). Sprinkle rolled oats on top. Put the lid on and place in the cold oven. Turn on the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat (not convection) and bake the dough for 1 hour. After 1 hour, remove the lid from the pot and leave in the oven for another 5 minutes.

Let the bread cool

Turn the bread out of the pot and let it cool on a wire rack.
