Description

These stuffed rolls are easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are wheat flour, dry yeast, milk, butter, and cream cheese for the filling. The recipe from the Bread and Rolls category makes 6 servings and is ready in 120 minutes, with an active working time of about 45 minutes. Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 300 g Wheat flour (type 405 or 550)
  • 5 g Dry yeast
  • 1 EL Sugar
  • 0.5 TL Salt
  • 150 ml Lukewarm milk
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 30 g Soft butter
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 50 g Grated cheese (e.g. mozzarella or Gouda)
  • 1 TL Dried parsley or oregano (optional)
  • 50 g Melted butter
  • 3 Stück Garlic cloves, finely chopped or pressed
  • 1 EL Honey (optional, for a sweeter note)
  • 1 Prise Salt

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare the dough

Add flour, dry yeast, sugar and salt to the mixing bowl.

Knead the dough

Add lukewarm milk, egg and soft butter and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to a smooth dough.

Let the dough rise

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, until the volume has doubled.

Prepare the garlic butter

Add melted butter, garlic cloves, honey (optional) and salt to the mixing bowl.

Shape rolls

Divide the dough into 6 pieces and shape into oval rolls.

Top the rolls

Spread the rolls with cream cheese and sprinkle with grated cheese and dried parsley or oregano (optional).

Let the rolls rise

Place the topped rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, cover with a cloth and let rise again for 30 minutes.

Bake the rolls

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat) and bake the rolls for approx. 20 minutes.
