Description

These homemade burger buns are a delight, and making them in the Thermomix® is easier than you imagine! The dough is soft and spongy, perfect for any type of burger. I often prepare them for informal dinners with friends or for my children's birthdays. The aroma that floods the kitchen while they bake is simply irresistible. Also, you can freeze them once baked and have them ready when you need them. Go ahead and try them, you will love them! A tip: if you want to give them a special touch, add a little dried oregano to the dough.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 250 gramos Wheat flour
  • 2 gramos Dry yeast
  • 2 unidades Egg
  • 40 gramos Unsalted butter
  • 12 gramos Sugar
  • 3 gramos Salt
  • 1 cucharada sopera Sesame seeds

Preparation of flour and salt

In the Thermomix bowl, add 250 grams of wheat flour and 3 grams of salt. Mix for 5 seconds/Speed 3 to combine the dry ingredients.

Yeast activation

In a separate container, dissolve 2 grams of dry yeast and 6 grams of sugar in 100 ml of warm water. Let stand for 5 minutes until the yeast is activated and forms foam.

Incorporation of wet ingredients

Add the activated yeast mixture to the Thermomix bowl. Also add 2 eggs and 40 grams of unsalted butter (soft).

Initial kneading

Knead the mixture for 2 minutes/Knead function. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour (teaspoons) until the desired consistency is obtained.

Final kneading

Continue kneading the dough for 18 minutes/Knead function until it is smooth and elastic.

First rise

Remove the dough from the Thermomix bowl and place it in a lightly floured bowl. Cover with a damp cloth and let stand in a warm place for approximately 2 hours, or until it doubles in volume.

Forming the buns

Once the dough has risen, gently degas it and divide into equal portions (approximately 6 portions). Form medium-sized round buns.

Second rise and baking

Place the buns on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds. Let stand for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
