Description

This pasta with tomato basil sauce is a true classic that is very easy to prepare in the Thermomix®. The fresh cherry tomatoes and basil give the dish a summery touch. I like to make this pasta when I need something quick, but still delicious. The preparation is straightforward and the result tastes simply delicious. If you like, you can sprinkle some grated cheese on top. Perfect for a quick lunch or a light dinner!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 1.5 l Beef broth
  • 250 g Spirelli or other noodles
  • 60 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 5 piece Cherry tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 0.5 piece Onion, red
  • 1 tsp Parsley, chopped
  • 1 Handvoll Basil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Put half of the red onion in coarse pieces and the clove of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. Use the spatula to push everything down from the edge.

Sauté onion and garlic

Put some oil in the mixing bowl and sauté the onion-garlic mixture for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Add tomatoes and tomato paste

Wash, halve the cherry tomatoes and put them in the mixing bowl together with the tomato paste and the chopped basil. Simmer everything for 5 min./100°C/level 1.

Add broth and noodles

Put the beef broth and the noodles in the mixing bowl. Cook everything for 15 min./100°C/level 1 without a measuring cup until the noodles are cooked. The cooking time may vary depending on the type of pasta.

Put the crème fraîche, the grated Emmental cheese and the chopped parsley in the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./60°C/gentle stirring level.
