Description

This creamy Tuscan chicken pasta is a family favorite! I've been making it for years, and it's always a hit. Tender chicken breasts are simmered in a rich, creamy sauce with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and Parmesan cheese. It's a comforting and satisfying meal that's perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. The best part? It's all made in one pot, so cleanup is a breeze! Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini. Enjoy!

Ingredients (16 ingredients)

  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp herbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp granulated garlic
  • 4 piece boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 pack penne pasta
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup white wine
  • 0.5 pound fresh spinach, stemmed
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare Chicken Coating

Combine ½ cup all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons herbs, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, and ½ teaspoon granulated garlic in a shallow bowl. Dredge 4 (4 ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts through the mixture, shaking off excess flour. Set aside.

Sauté Bell Pepper and Garlic

Add 3 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter to the mixing bowl. Set 1 red bell pepper, cut into matchsticks, and 1 clove garlic, minced, aside. Heat for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add Bell Pepper and Garlic

Add the bell pepper and garlic to the mixing bowl and cook for 2 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add Pasta, Cream, and Broth

Add ½ (16 ounce) package penne pasta, 2 cups heavy cream, and ¼ cup chicken broth to the mixing bowl. Lightly stir to ensure all the pasta is coated with liquid.

Cook Pasta and Chicken

Place the chicken breasts on the Varoma dish. Place the Varoma on top of the mixing bowl and cook for 20 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Add Spinach and Wine

Remove the Varoma. Add ½ pound fresh spinach, stemmed, and ½ cup white wine to the mixing bowl. Cook for 3 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Stir in Parmesan

Add 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese to the mixing bowl and stir for 1 Min./60°C/Stufe 1 until melted.
