Description

This pasta dish with simmered beef is a real treat for the taste buds! I often prepare it on Sundays for a convivial family lunch. The meat, melting and flavorful, is simmered in a rich and fragrant tomato sauce. A little red wine enhances the whole thing. It is a comforting dish, perfect for cool days. Do not hesitate to use fresh pasta for an even more intense taste experience. A simple dish, but so good, that will surely please the whole family. You can also add mushrooms for a more gourmet version.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 600 g of beef
  • Olive oil
  • 1 branche of celery
  • 1 piece red onion
  • 2 gousses of garlic
  • 1 verre of red wine
  • 600 g of tomato puree
  • 100 g of tomato concentrate
  • Fresh pasta

Preparation (8 steps)

Meat preparation

Crush the pepper flat with the blade of a knife. Add the pepper to the meat cut into pieces and massage with your hands. Heat a frying pan with olive oil, brown everything and set aside. This step is done outside the Thermomix for better cooking of the meat.

Vegetable preparation

In the Thermomix bowl, put 1 stalk of celery cut into pieces and 1 red onion cut into quarters. Chop everything for 5 Sek./Stufe 5.

Vegetable cooking

Add a drizzle of olive oil to the Thermomix bowl. Sauté the chopped vegetables for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding garlic and meat

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Speed 2/Linkslauf Reverse

Add 2 minced garlic cloves to the Thermomix bowl and the browned meat. Mix everything for 1 Min./Stufe 2/Linkslauf.

Deglaze with red wine

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Pour 1 glass of red wine into the Thermomix bowl and evaporate the alcohol for 2 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Adding tomato sauce

Add 600 g of tomato puree and 100 g of tomato concentrate to the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently with the spatula.

Simmering the sauce

60 min/203°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 95 Reverse

Add a little beef broth (about 100 ml) to the Thermomix bowl. Simmer covered for 60 Min./95°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Cooking pasta and serving

When serving, cook the fresh pasta according to the package instructions. Add the cooked fresh pasta to the pan with the sauce, mix and enjoy immediately.
