Description

These vegan gold pieces are an absolute delight! I often make them on weekends for a cozy brunch. The dough is super easy and quick to prepare, and the result is wonderfully crispy waffles. I especially like them with fresh fruit and some maple syrup. The oat milk gives the waffles a slight sweetness and a great consistency. They are perfect for anyone looking for a vegan alternative to classic waffles and taste simply delicious! Preparation in the Thermomix® makes the whole thing even easier and faster.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 75 g vegan Butter
  • 300 g Wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 150 ml Oat milk
  • 100 ml Sparkling water

Preparation (5 steps)

Melt butter

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 1 50

Place 75 g vegan butter in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 1.

Mix dry ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

Add 300 g wheat flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 pack vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 4.

Add and mix liquid ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add the melted butter, 75 g sugar, 150 ml oat milk and 100 ml sparkling water to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./speed 3.

Let the dough rest

Transfer the dough from the mixing bowl to a bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Bake waffles

Heat the waffle iron and brush both sides thinly with oil. Add 2 large tablespoons of dough each time and bake until golden brown for about 3-5 minutes. Perform this step outside of the Thermomix®.
