Description

These rustic buns in the pan are a delight for any time of day. The recipe is simple and the result is a soft bread inside and slightly crispy on the outside. Perfect to accompany breakfast, a meal or simply to enjoy with a little olive oil. I usually add a little dried oregano to the dough to give it a Mediterranean touch that everyone at home loves. The dough is very easy to work with and the rising time is key to obtaining a spongy texture. Go ahead and prepare them, they will surprise you!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 500 gramos 000 flour
  • 300 mililitros water
  • 30 mililitros olive oil
  • 9 gramos dry yeast
  • 8 gramos salt

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix dry ingredients

Place the flour and salt in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 5 seconds/Speed 4.

Add wet ingredients and knead

Add the olive oil, water and dry yeast to the bowl. Knead for 2 minutes/Kneading stage.

First rising

Remove the dough from the bowl, form a ball and place it in a floured container. Cover with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until it doubles in volume.

Divide and shape the buns

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion (round or elongated). Place the buns on a floured surface, cover with a cloth and let rise for 20 more minutes.
