Description

This dish of chicken breasts in Mexican sauce is a classic that always triumphs at home. The combination of tender chicken with tomato sauce and jalapeño peppers is simply delicious. Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 piece Ripe tomatoes
  • 3 piece Jalapeño peppers
  • 0.25 piece Onion
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 chorro Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Cook the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Place the 4 boneless chicken breasts in the Thermomix bowl. Add 1 clove of garlic and ¼ of onion. Cover with water to the maximum mark. Program 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Cook the tomatoes and peppers

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

In the same bowl, after removing the chicken and broth, place the 4 ripe tomatoes and the 3 jalapeño peppers. Program 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Cut and sauté the chicken

Remove the cooked chicken breasts from the Thermomix, drain and cut into medium squares or thick strips. In a separate pan, sauté the chicken pieces with a splash of oil and 1 pinch of salt until golden brown to taste. Set aside.

Prepare the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 8

Add the cooked tomatoes and peppers, the cooked onion, the cooked garlic and 1 pinch of salt to the Thermomix bowl. Crush 30 Sek./Stufe 8. Lower the remains with the spatula and crush another 10 Sek./Stufe 10.

Cook the chicken in the sauce

Pour the sauce into a pan with a little oil. Add the chicken pieces and make sure the sauce covers all the meat. Heat over medium heat and add 1 bunch of cilantro. Cook for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
