Description

I love preparing these crispy chicken drumsticks with spices! It's a recipe I often make for Sunday lunches or evenings with friends. The spice blend gives a truly unique taste, and the breading is incredibly crispy. The preparation is quite simple, but the result is always a success. These drumsticks are perfect for a friendly and gourmet meal. They can be accompanied by a fresh salad or homemade fries. A real treat for the taste buds!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 10 piece chicken drumsticks
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 c. à s. milk
  • 1 l peanut oil
  • 1 c. à s. paprika powder
  • 1 c. à s. fried onions
  • 1 c. à s. dried garlic
  • 1 c. à s. dried oregano
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Salt or fine salt

Preparation of the spiced breading

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

In the Thermomix bowl, mix 100 g flour, 1 tbsp paprika powder, 1 tbsp fried onions, 1 tbsp dried garlic, 1 tbsp dried oregano, pepper and salt. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4 to blend the spices well.

Preparation of the egg/milk mixture

In a bowl, pour 1 tbsp milk and crack 2 whole eggs. Beat the mixture with a whisk until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

Breading the chicken drumsticks

For a crispy breading, pass the 10 chicken drumsticks in the spiced flour prepared in the Thermomix bowl, then in the egg/milk mixture, and again in the spiced flour. Make sure the drumsticks are well covered with breading.

Cooking the chicken drumsticks

Heat 1 l of peanut oil in a fryer to 160°C. Immerse the breaded chicken drumsticks in the hot oil and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until they are golden brown and cooked inside.

Draining and serving

Once the drumsticks are golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them in a dish, on a few sheets of absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Serve hot.
