Description

This rustic pizza is a simple and tasty delight, perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. The dough, prepared in a flash with the Thermomix®, is both soft and crispy. The topping, made with tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, grated Gruyère and olives, offers an explosion of Mediterranean flavors. I especially like to add some cherry tomatoes for a touch of freshness and color. A little fresh basil or thyme delicately perfumes everything. It is a recipe that I often make because it is quick, easy and always appreciated!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 250 g of flour
  • 150 g of grated gruyere
  • 2 briques of tomato sauce
  • 2 boules of mozzarella
  • Green olive
  • Black olive
  • Cherry tomato for decoration
  • Basil or or thyme
  • 1 packet of baker's yeast (special bread yeast)
  • 15 cl of hot water
  • 3 c. à s. of olive oil
  • Salt or fine salt

Preparation of pizza dough

Thermomix® Setting

Put 250 g of flour, 15 cl of hot water, 3 tbsp of olive oil, 1 sachet of baker's yeast and salt in the Thermomix® bowl. Knead for 2 minutes in kneading mode.

Resting the dough

Form a compact ball with the dough. Put the ball in a bowl under a cloth and let it rest for about 20 minutes.

Pizza preparation

Oil a pie dish or baking sheet. Spread the pizza dough with your hands and fist. Pour 2 bricks of tomato sauce on the dough.

Topping

Cut 2 balls of mozzarella into slices and place them on the tomato sauce. Spread 150 g of grated Gruyère around the mozzarella. Add green and black olives.

Baking

Decorate with cherry tomatoes and basil or thyme. Put in the preheated oven for 25 minutes at 200°C.
