Description

This creamy chicken dish is an absolute favorite in my family! The tender chicken breast pieces, coated in a spicy sauce with fresh herbs, are simply irresistible. Baking in the oven makes the meat particularly juicy and the sauce nice and creamy. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or for guests. Serve with pasta, rice or just a fresh baguette. A dish that is guaranteed to please everyone and is prepared in no time!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 600 g Chicken breast fillet
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Paprika powder (hot rose)
  • 200 g Cream cheese (herbs)
  • 250 ml Cream
  • 130 ml Milk (whole milk)
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 2 tsp Vegetable broth (powder)
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Parsley or chives (freshly chopped)

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop garlic

Put the clove of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Scrape down from the side with the spatula.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add cream cheese, cream, milk, mustard, vegetable broth, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./speed 4.

Sear chicken

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top and bottom heat. Pat the chicken dry and cut into larger pieces. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder on both sides. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the chicken pieces in it from each side for about 3 minutes. Place in a casserole dish.

Pour sauce over the chicken

Pour the sauce from the mixing bowl over the seared chicken in the casserole dish.

Bake chicken

Bake the chicken in the casserole dish in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.

Serve

After the cooking time, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve with pasta, rice, potatoes or baguette.
