Description

This recipe for sesame chicken and vegetables is a quick and easy main course that's ready in about 35 minutes. It is rich in protein and vegetables, ideal for a balanced diet.   • 250 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 1 Stück Broccoli
  • 1 Stück red bell pepper
  • 1 Stück Carrot
  • 50 ml Soy sauce
  • 1 EL Honey
  • 1 EL Rice vinegar
  • 1 TL Sesame oil
  • 1 TL Sriracha
  • 1 TL Grated ginger
  • 1 Stück Garlic clove
  • 1 EL Sesame seeds
  • 120 g Rice

Preparation (8 steps)

Cook rice

Put 120 g of rice into the simmering basket and rinse with water. Add 800 ml of water to the mixing bowl, insert the simmering basket and cook for 22 min./100°C/speed 4.

Prepare vegetables

While the rice is cooking, cut 1 broccoli into florets, core 1 red bell pepper and cut into strips, peel 1 carrot and cut into slices.

Prepare chicken

Cut 250 g of chicken breast fillet into bite-sized pieces.

Fry chicken

Fry the chicken breast fillet in a separate pan with some oil until cooked. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

Prepare sauce

Add 50 ml soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp Sriracha (or more to taste), 1 tsp grated ginger and 1 chopped garlic clove to the mixing bowl and mix for 5 sec./speed 3.

Cook vegetables and sauce

Add the prepared vegetables (broccoli, peppers, carrot) to the sauce in the mixing bowl and cook for 10 min./100°C/reverse rotation speed 1. Use a spatula to stir in the vegetables if necessary.

Add chicken

Add the fried chicken breast fillet to the vegetables in the mixing bowl and heat for 2 min./90°C/reverse rotation speed 1. Use a spatula to mix everything gently.

Serve

Serve the sesame chicken and vegetables with the cooked rice and sprinkle with 1 tbsp sesame seeds.
