Description

This creamy chicken with chipotle chile is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a family meal or a special dinner. The combination of the smoothness of the chicken with the creaminess of the sauce and the spicy touch of the chipotle chile makes it an unforgettable culinary experience. I have been preparing it for years and it is always a success. It can be accompanied with white rice or three delights rice. It is a recipe that you cannot miss! Also, it is quite easy to prepare, especially with the help of our Thermomix®. Go ahead and try it!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1.5 kilogramos chicken in pieces
  • 2 latas half cream
  • 1 piece chile
  • 1 piece onion cut into julienne strips
  • 2 piece canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce
  • 90 gramos butter
  • 1 pastilla powdered chicken consommé
  • 1 piece green pepper cut into strips

Preparation (8 steps)

Cooked chicken

Place 1½ kilograms of chicken in pieces in a pot with water, salt and pepper. Cook until well cooked. Reserve the chicken and broth.

Onion and pepper in julienne strips

Place 1 onion cut into julienne strips and 1 green pepper cut into strips in the Thermomix glass. Program 3 seconds/speed 5 to chop.

Vegetable stir-fry

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 90 grams of butter to the Thermomix glass. Program 5 minutes/120°C/speed 1 to sauté the onion and pepper.

Add the chile

Add 1 clean chile (without seeds) to the Thermomix glass. If you want a spicier flavor, also add 2 canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce. Program 3 seconds/speed 5 to chop.

Creamy sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add 2 cans of half cream to the Thermomix glass, along with 1 tablet of crumbled powdered chicken consommé. Program 5 minutes/90°C/speed 2.

Crush the sauce (optional)

Thermomix® Setting
10 Seg./Speed 7

If you want a finer sauce, crush the sauce by programming 10 seconds/speed 7. Place the sauce back in the glass.

Incorporate the chicken

5 min/194°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Add the cooked chicken to the Thermomix glass with the sauce. Program 5 minutes/90°C/speed 1/Reverse direction.

Serve the creamy chicken with hot chipotle chile, accompanied by white rice or three delights rice.
