Description

This recipe for chicken strips with rosemary is a hearty main course that can be prepared in about 25 minutes. It is ideal for 2 servings and is well-suited for everyday cooking. The dish combines tender chicken breast fillets with aromatic rosemary and is refined with crème fraîche. Served with broccoli and basmati rice, it's a balanced meal.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 300 g Chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 Becher Crème fraîche
  • 1.5 Stück Garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • 0.5 Stück Onion(s), chopped
  • Bacon, diced
  • Salt and pepper, Salt
  • Rosemary
  • Vegetable oil or butter

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare and marinate chicken

Cut 300 g of chicken breast fillet(s) into pieces approximately 1 cm x 5 cm in size. For the marinade, mix some oil, pepper, salt, rosemary, and finely chopped garlic (1-2 small cloves) in a bowl. Add the meat to the marinade and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Slice onions

Place ½ onion on the mixing bowl lid with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2. Select the fine slicing disc and slice the onion into the mixing bowl. Set the sliced onion aside.

Fry bacon

Heat some vegetable oil or butter in a pan and fry bacon (diced, as needed) in it. Remove bacon from the pan and set aside.

Fry chicken

Fry the marinated meat in the same pan until golden brown. Add onions and bacon and continue to fry briefly.

Add crème fraîche and season

Remove the pan from the heat. Add 1 container of crème fraîche and stir well to prevent the crème from curdling. Season with pepper, salt, and rosemary.
