Description

This low-carb cauliflower puree is a healthy and simple side dish that is ready in about 25 minutes. It is ideal for a low-carbohydrate diet and offers a delicious alternative to mashed potatoes. Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 500 g Cauliflower
  • 50 g Butter
  • 100 g Cream Cheese
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare Cauliflower

Divide 500g cauliflower into florets and place in the steamer basket.

Add Water and Steam Cauliflower

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Add 500ml water to the mixing bowl, insert the steamer basket and steam for 20 Min./Varoma/Speed 1.

Drain Cauliflower

After the steaming time, carefully remove the steamer basket and drain the cauliflower. Empty mixing bowl.

Puree Cauliflower

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 4

Return the drained cauliflower to the mixing bowl. Add 50g butter, 100g cream cheese, salt and pepper to taste and puree for 30 Sec./Speed 4. If necessary, push down with the spatula and repeat the process.

Season and Serve

Season the puree and add more salt and pepper if needed. Then serve.
