Description

This recipe makes delicious bread rolls. The preparation is simple and quick with the Thermomix®. The rolls are vegetarian and ideal for breakfast or brunch. The working time is about 30 minutes, the total preparation time about 140 minutes. The recipe is designed for 9 servings.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 320 g Water
  • 1 Würfel fresh yeast
  • 2 TL heaped teaspoons salt
  • 500 g Wheat flour Type 405

Activate yeast

Put 320 g water, 2 heaped teaspoons of salt and 1 cube of fresh yeast into the mixing bowl and heat for 2 minutes/40°C/speed 3.

Knead dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add 500 g wheat flour type 405. Insert Patix kneading knife. Knead for 2 minutes/kneading level. The dough should be smooth, elastic and slightly sticky.

Shape dough

Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface, divide into 9 equal pieces and form into tight balls.

Cut the bread rolls

Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cut each one with a sharp knife.

Let the bread rolls rest

Let the rolls rest for about 20 minutes. They do not have to rise much, just relax.

Bake bread rolls

Preheat oven: 200 °C convection or 225 °C top/bottom heat. Slide an empty tray into the bottom of the oven. Bake bread rolls for approx. 20-25 minutes.
