Description

These chocolate-cinnamon shortbread cookies are a delight to prepare and enjoy, especially during the holiday season. The combination of cocoa and cinnamon brings a warm and comforting flavor.   • 125 g Half-salted butter
  • 125 g Brown sugar
  • 2 c. à soupe Cocoa powder
  • 1 c. à café Cinnamon
  • 1 piece Egg(s)

Put the flour, the butter cut into pieces, the brown sugar, the cocoa powder and the cinnamon in the bowl of the Thermomix. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Adding the egg and mixing

Add the egg in the bowl of the Thermomix and mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4. If the dough is too dry, add one tablespoon of cold water.

Formation of a ball and resting

Take the dough out of the Thermomix, form a ball and wrap it in cling film. Let rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheating the oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C (th.6).

Cutting out the shortbread cookies

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out shapes using a cookie cutter. Rework the remaining dough, roll it out and cut out other shapes, until all the dough is used up.

Baking the shortbread cookies

Place the shortbread cookies on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and bake for about 15 minutes.
