Description

This hearty savoy cabbage stew with ground meat and potatoes is a comforting dish for the cold season. The stew is easy to prepare and warms you from the inside out. With the Thermomix®, the preparation is quick and easy. Perfect as a filling main course for the whole family.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 Kopf Savoy Cabbage
  • 500 g Potatoes, waxy
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 2 EL Clarified butter
  • 500 g Mixed ground meat
  • 1 l Vegetable broth
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 2 TL Sweet paprika powder
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • Parsley

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare savoy cabbage

Halve the savoy cabbage, cut out the stalk and cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

Prepare potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut into approx. 1 cm cubes. Set aside.

Chop onion and garlic

Peel and halve the onion and place in the mixing bowl with the clove of garlic. Chop for 3 sec/speed 5.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 2 tbsp clarified butter and sauté for 3 min/120°C/speed 1.

Brown ground meat

Brown the ground meat in a separate pan with some clarified butter, season with salt and pepper and then add to the mixing bowl.

Add potatoes and broth

10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add the diced potatoes and 1 l vegetable broth to the mixing bowl. Simmer for 10 min/100°C/speed 1.

Add savoy cabbage and simmer

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add the chopped savoy cabbage to the mixing bowl and simmer for 15 min/100°C/Reverse speed 1 until the savoy cabbage collapses slightly and the potatoes are soft.

Season and Serve

Season the savoy cabbage stew with salt, pepper and 2 tsp sweet paprika powder. Serve with 200 g sour cream and chopped parsley.
