Description

These ramen noodle burgers are a great alternative to the classic burger! Instead of buns, we use crispy fried noodle cakes, which give the burger a special texture. The ground meat is refined with milk and breadcrumbs and formed into juicy meatballs. Topped with fresh tomatoes, spring onions and rocket, this is a savory dish that is perfect for parties or a cozy evening with friends. The preparation is a little more complex, but the result is worth it!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 125 g Mie noodles
  • Salt
  • 2 piece Spring onions
  • 40 g Rocket
  • 2 piece Tomatoes
  • 2 piece Eggs (Gr. M)
  • Pepper
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 375 g Ground beef
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp Ketchup
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Fat for the dessert rings

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare noodles

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Place 125 g of Mie noodles in the mixing bowl, cover with salted water according to the package instructions and cook for 10 min./100°C/speed 1. Then pour the noodles into a sieve and drain well.

Mix noodles

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Put the cooled noodles back into the mixing bowl. Add 1 egg, salt and pepper and mix for 10 sec./speed 3.

Fry noodle cakes

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Place 4 greased dessert rings (each approx. 9 cm Ø) in the pan. Add 1/8 of the noodle mixture to each and fry over medium heat for 8–10 minutes. After about half the frying time, remove the rings and turn the cakes over, remove and keep warm. Fry the remaining noodle cakes in the same way.

Prepare ground meat

20 sec/Speed 4

Put 375 g ground beef, 1 egg, 3 tbsp milk and 4 tbsp breadcrumbs into the mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix for 20 sec./speed 4.

Form and fry meatballs

Form 4 equally sized, flat meatballs from the ground meat mixture. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Fry the meatballs in it, turning occasionally, for about 8 minutes.

Top the burger

Top 4 noodle cakes with 1 meatball each. Spread 4 tbsp ketchup, tomato slices, spring onions and rocket on top. Finally, drizzle with some 4 tbsp soy sauce and cover with the remaining noodle cakes. Serve immediately.
