Description

This spicy red rice with black garlic is a simple recipe but full of flavor. Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 100 gramos red rice
  • 3 dientes black garlic
  • 3 piece piri piri pepper seeds
  • 1 cucharada salt
  • 1 chorrito extra virgin olive oil

Soaking the rice

Place 100 grams of red rice in a container with plenty of water and soak overnight. This will help reduce cooking time and improve the texture of the rice. The next morning, drain the rice and discard the water.

Cooking the rice

Thermomix® Setting

Pour 500 ml of water into the Thermomix bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of salt, 3 cloves of black garlic and 3 piri piri pepper seeds. Introduce the drained red rice into the simmering basket. Place the simmering basket inside the bowl and program 30 min/100°C/Speed 4.

Serve

Remove the simmering basket with the help of the spatula. Drain the rice well. Serve the spicy red rice on a plate and drizzle with a splash of extra virgin olive oil.
