Description

This heap of failure is a delicious dessert or main course prepared with whole wheat toast, apples, and a creamy egg milk. The recipe is easy to prepare and is ideal for a quick meal or as a sweet reward. With the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2, the apples can be quickly and easily sliced into thin slices. The casserole is designed for 4 servings and can be enjoyed both warm and cold.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

180 g Whole wheat toast
1 EL Oat bran
800 g Apple
0.75 l Milk
0.125 l Sparkling water
2 Stück Eggs
80 g Sugar or honey

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare toast

Cut 180 g of whole wheat toast into two thin slices each using the bread slicer and set aside.

Prepare apples

Core 800 g of apples. Place the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid, select the fine slice and finely grate the apples with the peel or slice thinly. Collect the cut material.

Prepare egg milk

Put 3/4 l milk (250 g), 1/8 l sparkling water (125 g), 2 eggs and approx. 80 g sugar or honey into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4.

Fill casserole dish

Place toast, 1 tbsp oat bran (15 g) and apple slices in layers in a casserole dish. Finish with a layer of bread.

Complete casserole

Pour the prepared egg milk over the casserole.

Baking

Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 170 °C for approx. 20 minutes until crispy.
