Description

These layer cheese plum jam cookies are a delicious pastry that is especially good for the winter season. The dough made from flour, margarine and layer cheese is prepared in the Thermomix® and then filled with plum jam and sprinkled with icing sugar. The cookies are ideal for Christmas or other festive occasions.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

500 g Flour
500 g Margarine
500 g Layer cheese
250 g Icing sugar
1 Stück Lemon(s)

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Put 500 g flour, 500 g margarine and 500 g layer cheese or low-fat quark into the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to form a dough. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour. The dough must come off the fingers easily, but must not be dry.

Chill dough

Form the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator for at least two hours, but preferably overnight.

Shape and bake cookies

Remove the dough from the refrigerator, divide it into portions and roll it out one after the other on a floured work surface to a thickness of approx. 2 mm. Cut out cookies with a cookie cutter and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread the cookies with 1 glass of plum jam and sprinkle with 250 g of icing sugar.
