Description

These chocolate muffins are a real delight for young and old! I love preparing this recipe for birthday parties or simply for a little sweetness at home. The intense dark chocolate goes perfectly with the crispy pieces of a famous chocolate bar. The preparation is quick and easy with the Thermomix®, making it an ideal recipe for days when you have little time. They can be enjoyed warm or cold, according to preference. For an even more gourmet version, do not hesitate to add some extra chocolate chips to the dough. A real treat guaranteed!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 200 g Baking dark chocolate
  • 2 piece Chocolate bar
  • 100 g Melted butter
  • 50 g Flour
  • 60 g Icing sugar
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 0.5 packet Baking powder
  • 100 g Dessert dark chocolate
  • 12.5 ml Liquid cream
  • 1 c. à soupe Acacia honey

Preparation of dark chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Cut 200 g of dark chocolate into pieces and place them in the Thermomix bowl. Melt the chocolate for 3 Min./50°C/Stufe 2.

Mixing ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add 100 g of melted butter, 3 eggs and 60 g of icing sugar to the Thermomix bowl. Mix everything for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Incorporating flour and yeast

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 50 g of flour and 0.5 sachet of baking powder to the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Preparation of the molds

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line muffin tins with paper liners. Fill the liners halfway with the batter. Break 2 chocolate bars into pieces and distribute them in the molds. Cover with the remaining dough.

Baking the muffins

Bake the muffins for 10 minutes. Check for doneness with a knife blade: it should come out clean and dry. If necessary, continue cooking for a few minutes.

Preparation of the chocolate ganache

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Place 100 g of dessert dark chocolate in the Thermomix bowl and chop 5 Sek./Stufe 5. Add 12.5 ml of liquid cream and 1 tbsp of acacia honey. Melt everything for 3 Min./50°C/Stufe 2.

Coating the muffins

Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool on a rack. Coat the muffins with the chocolate ganache. Enjoy them warm or cold.
