Description

This creamy Rigatoni casserole from the Thermomix® is a hearty main course with rigatoni, minced meat, ham and an aromatic tomato sauce. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 60 minutes, the active working time is about 30 minutes. The recipe is designed for 4 servings and is ideal for lovers of Italian cuisine. The combination of pasta and meat makes the casserole a filling family meal.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 350 g Rigatoni
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 100 g Cooked ham
  • 300 g Ground beef
  • 1 EL Olive oil
  • 100 g Tomato paste
  • 250 ml Beef broth
  • 250 g Cream
  • 1 EL Italian herbs
  • 3 EL Grated Parmesan
  • 150 g Peas (frozen)
  • 50 g Grated mozzarella
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Prise Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Cook rigatoni

Cook 350 g rigatoni al dente according to package directions in a separate pot.

Chop onions and garlic

Put 1 onion and 1 clove of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Fry ground beef

Cut 100 g of cooked ham into small pieces. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan and fry 300 g of ground beef. Add the chopped onions and garlic and sauté briefly.

Prepare sauce

Put the fried ground beef, onions and garlic in the mixing bowl. Add 100 g tomato paste and sauté for 2 min./120°C/speed 1. Add 250 ml beef broth and 250 g cream and simmer for 15 min./100°C/speed 2. Season with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp Italian herbs. Stir in 3 tbsp grated Parmesan.

Prepare casserole

Put the cooked rigatoni, the sauce, 150 g peas (frozen) and the chopped ham in a casserole dish and mix. Sprinkle with 50 g grated mozzarella.

Bake casserole

Preheat the oven to 180°C top and bottom heat. Bake the casserole for 15 minutes.
