Description

This simple spelt bread from the Thermomix® consists mainly of spelt flour, water, yeast, honey and salt. It belongs to the category bread and rolls and is vegetarian. The preparation takes about 150 minutes, with the active working time being only 20 minutes. The recipe is ideal for a hearty breakfast or as a side dish to the main course. Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 300 g Water
  • 1 EL Honey
  • 0.5 Stück Yeast
  • 500 g Spelt flour type 630
  • 10 g Salt

Activate yeast

Put 300 g water, 1 tbsp honey and 1/2 cube of yeast into the mixing bowl and heat the mixture.

Prepare dough

Add 500 g spelt flour 630 and 10 g salt and process everything into a dough.

Let the dough rise

Put the dough in a bowl, dust it with flour and let it rise covered in a warm place for 1 hour.

Prepare oven master

During this time you can flour a oven master.

Shape and bake bread

Place the dough on a floured work surface, fold it together several times and form it into a loaf of bread. Place the loaf of bread in the prepared oven master (Roman pot), dust it with flour and cut it. Put the lid on the oven master and slide it into the cold oven on the lowest rack. Bake the bread for 50-60 minutes at 240° O/U heat.

Brown bread

Carefully remove the oven master lid and let the bread brown for 5 minutes without the lid at 240°C.
