Description

This Thermomix® recipe for pork tenderloin with curry cream sauce is a hearty main course with pork tenderloin, cream, and aromatic herbs. New potatoes and carrots are prepared in the Thermomix® as a side dish. The preparation time is about 45 minutes for 4 servings. Ideal for a festive family meal or lovers of hearty cuisine.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 600 g Pork tenderloin
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 TL Dried herbs de Provence
  • 1000 g New potatoes
  • 300 g Carrots, in pieces
  • 1 Stück Onion, halved
  • 200 g Cream
  • 150 g Crème fraîche
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 2 TL Curry powder
  • 1.5 TL Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 TL Vegetable spice paste
  • 1 EL Starch
  • Parsley for garnish

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the pork tenderloin

Place the pork tenderloin on the insert and season all around with 2 pinches each of salt and pepper, and the herbs de Provence.

Cook the new potatoes

Pour 500 g water into the mixing bowl. Place the Varoma® with the 1000 g new potatoes on top and season with 1 tsp salt. Insert the insert, close the Varoma® and cook for 15 min. | Varoma® | level 3.

Cook the carrots

Meanwhile, fill the simmering basket with the 300 g carrots in pieces. After the cooking time, set aside the closed Varoma®, insert the simmering basket, put the Varoma® back on top and cook everything for another 15 min. | Varoma® | level 3.

Remove simmering basket and Varoma

Set the Varoma® aside closed. Remove the simmering basket using the spatula. Keep both warm. Empty the mixing bowl.

Prepare the sauce

Put 1 halved onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec. | level 5. Scrape down with the spatula. Add 200 g cream, 150 g crème fraîche, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 2 tsp curry powder, 1 ½ tsp sweet paprika powder, 1 tsp vegetable spice paste and 1 tbsp starch and mix for 15 sec. | level 3.5, then cook for 5 min. | 90°C | level 3. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.

Arrange

Cut the pork tenderloin into pieces. Arrange on plates with new potatoes, carrots and sauce and serve garnished with parsley.
