Description

This hearty gyros soup from the Thermomix® is a warm main course with poultry, peppers, and processed cheese. Refined with gyros seasoning and onion soup, it's an affordable meal for the whole family. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 45 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for lovers of savory soups.

Ingredients (16 ingredients)

  • 500 g Poultry cutlet/fillet (chicken/turkey/poulet), raw
  • 20 g Gyros seasoning
  • 250 ml Milk, low-fat, 1.5% fat
  • 1 Stück Onion(s)
  • 250 g Bell pepper(s)/Vegetable chili peppers
  • 1 EL Vegetable oil
  • 1 Beutel Maggi Onion Soup
  • 50 g Du darfst Schmelzkäse Schmelzli (processed cheese)
  • 750 ml Water
  • 125 g Bonduelle Golden Corn
  • 25 g Tomato paste
  • 0.5 Prise Chili powder
  • 50 ml Tomato juice
  • 2 Prise Salt
  • 2 Prise Pepper
  • 2 Prise Thyme

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare the meat

Fry the meat with gyros seasoning in a separate pan without fat. Place in a bowl, add milk and let sit overnight.

Chop onions

Place the onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onions

Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Chop peppers

Place the bell pepper(s)/vegetable chili peppers in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./speed 4.

Add 750 ml water and 1 packet Maggi onion soup and cook for 10 min./100°C/speed 1.

Add 50 g Du darfst Schmelzkäse Schmelzli (processed cheese), 1/2 pinch chili powder, 25 g tomato paste and 50 ml tomato juice and stir for 3 min./90°C/speed 2.

Add 500 g poultry cutlet/fillet (chicken/turkey/poulet), raw with milk, 125 g Bonduelle golden corn, 2 pinches thyme, 2 pinches salt and 2 pinches pepper and heat for 5 min./90°C/reverse speed 1.
